OGX Hairsplaining
Haircare brand OGX had a very unique problem: a 2% brand name recall. Women know the iconic packaging and buy and rebuy their products, but can’t ask for the product by name.
So what’s the most memorable way to speak to women about something they already know? By mansplaining. Obviously.
Our monthlong Hairsplaining organic social campaign with former child star/current influencer/charming manticulator Josh Peck saw a 12% follower increase on TikTok, a 496% increase in comments and 20x lift in social sharing for OGX.
We also saw a few press pickups, including People Magazine.
As the ACD on this project, I concepted & scripted this campaign, and guided pre- and post-production, including editing.
